Organizing Outside
It is cold. There are a couple feet of snow on the ground and yet now is actually a good time to be thinking of being outside. Gardeners out there know what I am talking about. You think in seeds and plantings in winter when there is not much to be done outside. By the time the weather breaks it is almost too late to buy the plants you want.
So, take a look now and imagine what you would like your yard to be like now. You can search online for seed catalogs and bulbs for the summer. Do you need to spruce up a fence? Clear bushes? Make a list. No need to tackle it now, just plan. When the time comes you will be ready.
For dog owners out there, I was recently looking for an alternative to the dog doo in the trash solution that can be so toxic, messy and environmentally unfriendly. I found it! A septic system for your dog. The idea is simple and there are a number of companies that offer solutions. You may even be able to find a good sale for this type of thing now, in the winter, when it is the 'off season' for lawn and garden projects. Reducing your contribution to the landfill is a great way to 'de-clutter' the earth. Try this link to see more about what I am talking about:
